How do I determine if my A and V cards are DirectX 9 compatible?

I forgot to tell you the DirectX has to be version 9. How can I determine if mine are?

Just got to the start menu to the run box and type in- dxdiag -and it will bring up the direct x diagnostic page with around 8 tabs at the top there are display and sound tabs with tests on each page and the system tab should tell you youre direct x version.

The best way is to go to the Manufactureres website and search for ur specific model, that if it supports DirectX 9 or not. Or u can see the Agp/PCI mannual.
