Sure...some people think they can be Christians by following a religion. Having a relationship with Christ is more than sitting in a pew every Sunday. It's more than saying, "My Granddaddy was a preacher, so I'm a Christian."
It doesn't work that way.

To truly be a Christian you are supposed to strive to be Christ like. Some don't really try, some think just by attending a church that they are, some really do walk the walk but that is a rare thing. I know I couldn't honestly say that I am but that doesn't mean I don't believe in God, just that I don't want be hypocritical.

There are some people who attend church that are not Christians. They have never been saved by the Grace of God. salvation is what takes you to Heaven. Not going to church. If you are Truly saved, you will have a desire to go to church, and worship God. Many people have religion, but don"t have God. There are many Christians go to church.

Yes! I attend a church and I am a Christian. A Christian is a true believer in Jesus Christ.

Are you aware that Celestial and Heaven mean the same. I guess Jesus is a "New Ager" according to you, I accepted Jesus as my Savior and am Baptized in the Holy Spirit. One thing even your Religion??? does not do is Judge so watch what you call me. I will be getting Blessed all over the place. God blesses those that are ridiculed for his name sake. God Be with you, answer some more of my questions.

I think that happens in any religion. People say they believe when they really don't, or they act contrary to how they should be behaving. Some people care when they mess up and try to do better, but some bad apples don't care and even realize they aren't being very good.

Amen. As the old saying goes, "sitting in church doesn't make you a Christian any more than sitting in a garage makes you a car."

Yes. The Bible teaches that there are "tares among the wheat" and that Jesus will sort it all out at the end of the age. We will probably be somewhat surprised at who isn't really saved.
