Yes! However if you put one labeled children it will attract perverts. I think there should be several simple requirements for the adults. Perhaps they should do a standard test and group people according to thier scores. They should test users spelling skills. That is a big pet peeve! Also, they should have some way of zapping these people who ask stupid questions for the simple pleasure of shock value! They should ban the ones that keep asking the same questions over and over. Sometimes I think it's the adults we have to worry about on this site!

I would normally say yes because of the nature of some questions, but then I realized that some of these questions come from the children hoping for answers that thier parents are either too embrassed to give them or don't know the answers themselves or the children would rather die than ask thier parents-- so I come to the clusion that if children ask question on a children site of Yahoo! Answers they may not get the answers they need, however; I feel that Adult questions should only be answered by other adults and somehow blocked from children viewing.

No, I think having a place where children can get their questions answered by adults is okay, but the adults need to start acting like adults. It's important to remember that there ARE children on this site, so we should really cut down on the swears and explicitly sexual talk. Sex questions are okay, but some people are asking things just for the graphic shock value, which is inappropriate for kids. As long as we keep reporting people who abuse the site, things will get better.

As far as kids asking question about "Is my avatar pretty?", those don't really bother me because I can always skip down to the next question, or look up better questions by category. Also, some of the "Does he like me?" questions are sincere, and if you think you can help out, it's a nice thing to do. There are no stupid questions, except for stupid rhetorical questions.

No, I know there are a lot of dumb questions out there but this site is for everyone. Some kids really want advice and have no other adults to turn to, sometimes its good to get opinions and avice from adults that don't judge (too much).
What I would ask though, is that all the children that hang out here looking to chat or are asking deliberately dumb questions, move on to a more appropriate site. The upside of this site is that there are adults willing and able to help out if kids need it, the downside is that the same can be used against children.
For their won sakes I would ask them to avoid chatting and questions of a sexual nature that are not asking for advice.

Given some of the crass advice I've seen given to askers who are obviously kids, I would have to say yes. It doesn't bother me that they ask silly questions and such but as a responsible adult I am concerned about some of the crap they read. I know they are not my problem but in some ways I think they are everyone's problem. The way they act as adults will affect everyone. Remember, they are the one's who will be running the world when we are old and gray! I'd like to think they were intelligent and responsible when they make the laws for this country.

No, because if the powers that be were to separate the two parts, children would find a way to access the most adult material anyways. I think it is important for children to be exposed to the lunacy of the adult world (exposed to, not enmeshed in) because so few parents are willing to talk straight to their children anyways. This way they have an environment in which to ask questions that would otherwise be taboo and be given real, adult answers instead of the normal drivel they hear.

I think maybe some of the adults should stop acting like children and ask questions that need to be asked or at least keep them in a good category.

well, there should be a category for teenage love to fix that problem one girl stated above. lol. But children ask questions on here to get answers specifically from adults.. so i don't think we should restrict them from our questions and answers. Sometimes kids have innocent answers to adult questions that probably make the most sense heh. but yea, keep adult material only for adults ....
