PRT Issues...failing too many. The discharge is Honorable. It is not a General (under Honorable Conditions) or an Other Than Honorable.

depends mostly on the RE code and characterization of the ADMIN SEP. "for the good of the service", for instance, might mean that the branch was downsizing and allowed you to go early without penalty. no loss of bennies there. "In lieu of Courtsmartial" however, could mean you lose VA bennies like the GI bill or the Loan guarentee.

Generally this sort of discharge is considered to be a bad thing. The question in any employer's mind will be: "What did this guy do to get kicked out of the military?"

EASY ANSWER - IF YOU HAD AN ADMINISTRATIVE DISCHARGE I WOULD NOT HIRE YOU!

Remember admin discharges result from misconduct (usually repeated) that does not warrant judicial or non judicial punishment.
