I live in Miami (urban fringe) so a fox sighting is not supposed to be common. The other night at 3am my husband & I were up late observing my baby who had high temperatures & watching a movie as a way of staying up. I heard a loud knock at the door & my hubby being a big guy ran to the door, but no one was there. When he stepped outside all he saw was a fox(the animal). We have spotted him from time to time in our neighborhood even once as far as 7 to 8 miles away at a school track where I exercised. We've been seeing the fox from time to time since we moved here about 9 yrs now.
I'm a Christian so I am protected under the blood of Christ. Can these sightings mean anything though?

Not really superstious so to speak. The loud knock at the door added to the strangeness of tht day. It was a strange one at tht, baby had a fever, dinner had to be thrown out it was ruined, 4 yr old was 2 steps from being run over. Even my computer wouldn't turn on. Thnk God my dad who is a strong Christian came over to pray.

Since you are a christian I can say this to you. Spiritual warfare. Take on the whole armor of God so that you will be able to withstand the wiles of the devil. Since you say your husband was the one who first spotted the fox maybe it is something going on in you all life right now. It could also be demons. I don't know if you believe in spiritual things like that but the devil is going to and fro to seek whom he may devour. Song of Solomon 2:15 says, "Take us the foxes, the little foxes, that spoil the vines: for our vines have tender grapes." and in Luke 13:32 God called the Pharisees foxes, devils. You have to be prayed up and put on the armour of God.
A fox is an example of life problems that can disturb or destroy a relationship. in song of solomon the lovers wanted any and all problems to be removed. it is often the little foxes that cause the biggest problems. Also you need to be aware of who is around you and your family. Watch out for who you let come in your house and anoint your house. Watch your neighborhood and since you have spotted him in your neighborhood, this means the devil see's you as much as you see him. So next time you see the fox you will be able to hear some insight from God.
Somethings are hard to be understood that are spiritual but we fight not against flesh and blood but against spiritual wickness in high places.

Miami is among the most used vacation locations and with hotelbye you'll find out more. Miami has something for all; from the stylish nightlife of South Beach, bejeweled by the eye candy of the Art Deco section as much as the bustle of Calle Ocho and the highly caffeinated energy of Small Havana. The Art Deco District delivers right back memories of an early on time in Florida with its wonderfully repaired 1930s Art Deco structures and is just a place effectively visited exactly like Bayside Marketplace. That place is really a big outside style mall with increased than 150 specialty and tourist stores, numerous bars and restaurants, and everyday stay entertainment.

I am a "Christian," I guess, since I believe in God, love God, and know Jesus is my Savior. However, I also have a strong Native American spirituality and my beliefs are a combination of classi "Christianity" and Native spirituality. I feel God and the Creator are One.
Now that that's out of the way, I feel the fox is your spirit guide. Are you by chance of Native blood?
Look up spirit guide and spirit guardians online. My spirit guide is a red tail hawk. Whenever he flies overhead, it foretells a good omen for me. But two days in a row, I saw him perched on a power line in the town where I live, in the exact same place, on a route I take daily. I even stopped my truck and watched him! A few days later, a close friend died. The next day, I lost another friend. You cannot tell me God wasn't sending me a sign via the hawk. I believe God uses His animals just as he uses us to do His will.

Actually foxes are living under our noses, much like raccoons, opossums, and other previously 'forest' creatures. You aren't seeing the same fox, though - wild foxes only live to be about 2 years old before dying. You are seeing multiple foxes, and evidentally they do live in Miami!

It has no religious or spiritual meaning. Foxes are territorial animals, and you are apparently in it's home range. I would'nt mind, if I were you to have it there. They are good vermin predators. They eat mice, lizards, small snakes, rats, all the creepy things I don't like.
