The only thing I have that comes close is a "medical miracle", so I'm not sure if it qualifies. The son of one of our friends was diagnosed with cancer, and the prognosis was pretty bleak. His doctors ran tests, suggested treatments, but overall, it didn't look good. The parents decided to take some time to consider the options, and asked their church family to pray for their son and for God to give them guidance. When they took their son back a couple of weeks later, the doctors re-ran the same tests and the cancer was gone. There was no "medical explanation", it was just gone. Now, I'm a Christian, but I also believe the body is capable of healing itself. I'm also willing to accept that this boy could have been misdiagnosed and perhaps the original testing produced "false positive" results. But I'm also willing to believe that it is *possible* that God heard the prayers of these people and healed this child.
I think there are many things in the universe that defy explanation. Do I think all of them are evidence of God's existence? Not necessarily. Do they reinforce my belief in God? Somewhat. I've said it before and I'll say it again: I don't think any of us has all the answers. In the end, we'll all be surprised to find out that we were all right AND wrong about some things.

Me. Scientist have proved nothing it is all hypothesis. I have a hypothesis too. God created the heavens and the earth. Give me PROOF I am wrong you can't. If evolution where true where did the first being come from? Why aren't monkeys changing into humans at our local zoo. Have you ever known an animal that changed species? If the big bang theory is correct why are we the only planet with intellegent life forms? Why do all the planets revolve around the sun. What keeps us all in orbit. You don't have answers. Before you say the Bible doesn't address other planets heavenS plural it means something it is not there by accident.

I found this information to be quite interesting. It isn't exactly what you were wanting, but it does explain how God could use the "laws of nature" to create miracles.
"Scientists have discovered that under abnormal conditions, things often act quite differently from what we might expect. For example, when lead is submerged in liquid helium cooled to a temperature of -456 degrees Fahrenheit (-271° C.) and is placed near a bar magnet, it becomes an excellent conductor and acts like a powerful electromagnet. Under normal conditions, any object heavier than air that is released in midair will fall to the ground. But consider the astronaut who simply floats around in his spaceship. Such things are hard to believe, unless you happen to know the laws of nature that make them possible.
Thus, today we are able to do things that would have astounded educated people just a few hundred years ago. Yet we are no more intelligent than people were then. We merely have the advantage of a few hundred more years of human experience. Jehovah God, who created the laws of nature, is vastly more intelligent and more experienced than we are. Surely, he could set up abnormal or unusual conditions under which, in complete accordance with the laws of nature as he controls them, a man could walk on water or calm the violence of a windstorm.
Doctor Hans Hoppeler, Swiss author of the book Bibelwunder und Wissenschaft (Miracles of the Bible and Science), said: “The person who believes in an Almighty God, who has laid down the laws of nature and who is in control of them, finds it obvious that from time to time this God could intervene in his universe in a way not understood by us and according to laws unknown to us, and this for the purpose of making known his power and wisdom.”

Yes I would be very happy to share a miracle that personally happened to me to be uplifting to the Christian community. It wouldn't matter to an atheist if God stood in person and told him/her that He was the one that created the earth and all of its fullness. He/she would scoff and say yeah right prove it. Using the very scientific things that is so preached about by Atheists I will prove the power of prayer worked. I went to the doctor for my yearly physical and mammography. Had my mammogram done and it came back abnormal with a mass. I had a serious lump that was growing at an alarming rate of speed. My husband prayed for me three times before I was to get the Ultra Sound done the next day. Guess what, no lump, perfectly normal Ultra Sound. They couldn't come up with an explanation but I could. Jesus said, By your faith you are healed.

Either you believe Gods Word or you dont. The supernatural things Christ did on the earth are miracles to us but to Him, with as much power He has, it was but a thought or a word and it was done. We will never prove anything to anybody if there not willing to take it by faith, even though they want alot of cold hard proof, without faith to believe it, it wont matter cause thats how we are saved Eph 2:8-9. These people will be around till Christ returns to the earth, and nly then they will believe but if they have rejected the Gospel before the rapture and the rapture happens, they will be the ones who believe Christ is real because He will be Physically reighning on the earth, REV 20, but they will still hate Him. Reach as many as we can with the Gospel, but if they want to prove you wrong and fuss and fight, move on to someone else, unless the Holy Spirit asks you to continue to speak with them.

15 years ago I was told that I had less than 20% renal function left. In 6 months I would require dialysis. This was just after the full term loss of a baby. I was very sick and almost unable to go on. I had pretty much given up after burying my daughter. At 22 life held little meaning to me. I was angry at God whom I thought hated me. I shattered my own Rosary. Which for a Catholic is pretty extreme. I no longer had faith nor desire. I believed He was there but I hated Him or so I thought. I had a dream that my grandfather was sitting beside me and speaking. In his arms he held my baby, Pegan. He told me it was OK and that God loved me. He had plans I would not understand. Since then no one can explain why after 15 years and 2 living breathing sons that I should not have been able to conceive much less carry to a breathing infant I am not on dialysis, I fully believe that God is responsible. My doctors are stunned because my kidneys should not be able to keep me functioning without dialysis. You decide! For me I have my answer. Two sons and my life. It is enough for me.
Peace Be With You,
Debra

I'm sure you'll find some theist who believes that they have such an example. Unfortunately, only other theists will agree that it is convincing evidence. The warped reality existant in the minds of theists can be explained via the nature of the human mind.

My answer would be to start w/ nature itself. I mean let's be honest. You look at a painting you know there is a painter. You see a building you know there was an architect or a builder. When you see creation.. The complexity and beauty tells us there is a creator. Think about the structure of the DNA code. Come on folks! A big bang! DNA & coincidence is an oxymoron!

Well, I'm not out to prove anything but just for fun, what comes to mind are all the weeping icons in the world. Being an iconographer myself I find it fascinating this thing that happens to some of them. Search >weeping icons< just to get a glimpse of some. I personally witnessed one of St. Patrick weeping myrrh. It was a plain painted board...nowhere for any gimmicks. It was really mind boggling! Anyway, its a wonder! I'm sure among the many there are some hoaxes, but knowing the Orthodox tradition...they're really deep into authenticity, so I can trust that their weeping icons are real.

I generally respect you, but you forget to mention a documented, recent miracle. Now all the bible thumpers will throw the book at you. Even I have one for you...From the OT...Didn't Moses part the Red Sea? That would definately defy the laws of Physics even if it was only for a few moments of time. PEACE!
