Usually when a couple breaks up the family breaks up too. Doesn't matter that they like you a lot. It's her family. What if your family liked her a lot and you couldn't stand her anymore....would you still want her hanging out with your family?

If it is her family then chances are they don't realy like her more than they like you. Blood is thicker than water and in most cases after a break up if one person is still trying to be friends with the ex 's family it is b/c he/she wants to still be with the ex and hopes for a reunion. If this is the case with you , it is probably best to make a clean break. If it is meant to be it will happen and if not then it may be too painful to see her moving on with someone else while your friends with her mom and dad. If you are still wanting to get back with her just remember it is human nature not to want what is easily obtained and the best way to get her back is appear to be moving on. You can still be friendly with her and her family if you see them out but don't go out of your way to keep them in your social circle.

I would say yes for awhile at least so the feelings aren't so raw. Then, I don't see a problem with still talking to her family but it could be somewhat uncomfortable.

i dont think a family that doesnt like their own daughter( whatever she might be)and actually lets people know about it is not a balanced one... and i dont think u need to associate with such a family which might turn against u too some day.

I don't think you should have to break up from your ex's family. It will be kinda akward . But you got attached to them and the same for them to. So don't stop going around them keep the relationship with them.

there is no reason to cut off connections with people you are friendly with. if you enjoy ur ex's family's company and vice versa, then stay friends. i did. =)
plus, there is no reason to not be friends with your ex.
or, at least i don't think there is.
