It's like a nightmare- only real.

Imagine that you have a terrible dream. You just dream the same thing every night...again and again. You can't understand or be aware of the fact that you are dreaming when this is all happening, because it feels real to you.

You find yourself inside a dark, eerily silent basement. It's cold. The smell is a musky odor of mold and earth. The basement is very large in dimension- but there is no way out. Once, you encounter a stairway, and a door at the top. The door is locked. But once you pry open the door somehow, there is just a cold brick wall behind it. The stench of mildew is choking.

The light is scarce. There are few dismal lights on, but many places are immersed in darkness.

But then, your heart begins to panic, because you hear something that haunts you. You hear the voice of a loved one crying your name, over and over again. At times, the voice is distant. Sometimes, the voice seems a few feet away from you- but you never find your loved one no matter what you do. The voice keeps crying out to you, but you are cut off forever. There is no way out. There is no daylight. It's not a dream, but a real place called hell- and you're going to spend forever there, in a dark and hopelessly lonesome place.

That is probably what hell is really like. I wouldn't want to ever go there. No key, no door, no window, and no exit.

"Abandon all hope, ye who enter here."

People like Veritos just kill me
He says Hell wasn't introduced till much later. Hell was describe from the beginning sas a place where you do not want to end up.
He says religions change. God's word has always been and will always be true and unchanging , Man changes, not God.

He post make claims that he doesn't back up. If he doesn't believe the bible that is fine, but to make up stories and try to make them "sound like I know what I'm talking about" when it is obvious he has no clue is pretty sad. Some people are lead astray by false claims

To answer your question
Hell is a place of never ending fire, total aloneness, Separation from God, and no way out.....ever, And the worse part to me would be that all I had to do was accept Christ and I wouldn't have had to go to that awful place

Nothing of our imagination or any horror flick we've seen can come close. The mistake most people make is thinking that Hell is like a horror movie, which is an incomplete picture.

Yes, there is torture and brutality in Hell, but the real torture is the suffering of the spirit, the soul. Those in Hell are completely cut off from God. It's like knowing that God is there with all happiness and joy and peace, but you can never have it. Not because God did this to you, but because you did this to yourself by choosing to reject God. The pain and suffering of this is so great that it is beyond our comprehension. It is a seething hate and anger that is torturous and forever. There is no end. It is permanent.

From Saint Fautina's vision of Hell:

"The First Torture that constitutes hell is:
The loss of God.
The Second is:
Perpetual remorse of conscience.
The Third is
That one's condition will never change.
The Fourth is:
The fire that will penetrate the soul without destroying it. A terrible suffering since it is a purely spiritual fire, lit by God's anger.
The Fifth Torture is:
Continual darkness and a terrible suffocating smell, and despite the darkness, the devils and the souls of the damned see each other and all the evil, both of others and their own.
The Sixth Torture is:
The constant company of Satan.
The Seventh Torture is:
Horrible despair, hatred of God, vile words, curses and blasphemies."

The loss of God may not sound bad to some people but if God is Love then it would be the loss of all love!

To me the reality of hell is coming face to face with the knowledge that one has blown any chance they have of a life in Gods presence. The pain of hell is like the pain of anything you have chose to reject or ignore then find later it is real and you have no opportunity to go back and make that choice over again. It can be described as an all comsuming fire that will not go out.

Hell is just a threat used by religious leaders to scare you into submission. If you study religions at their conception, specifically Christianity, you will see Hell wasn't introduced until much later. If God is so perfect, he would do everything right the first time, why then do his religions change over time by the whim of man? And if you can not accept that religion has changed, stop lying to yourself.

Hell is an archetypal creation of the world consciousness, stemming from a natural martyr complex (most likely caused by a chemical imbalance and mental instability), and a desire to be punished for some perceived "sin." Much like sexual masochism, it is probably linked to a desire to be victimized, incapable of making "the torture" stop, and thus acts as a release from responsibility for an otherwise shameful experience.

Well, Revelation 21:8 says, "For the fearful and unbelieving and abominable, the sorcerers and idolaters and whoremongers and ALL THOSE WHO LOVETH AND MAKETH A LIE SHALL HAVE THEIR PART IN THE LAKE WHICH BURNETH WITH FIRE AND BRIMSTONE WHICH IS THE SECOND DEATH!" I can't recall where in the Old Testament it is, but Hell is described in one passage as having " enlarged her mouth beyond measure." Pretty spooky to me....

You will be dragged beneath the surface of the earth by the devil. Crushing all the bones in your body. Your eye-lids will be torn from their roots so you can never hide from God's punishment. You will be whipped by horned demons while bathing in molten sulphur. You will feel this pain for eternity.

Hell is being of nothing and having your soul stripped from your own body and then destroyed by your own hand. Half living and half dead you remain eternally stagnant and oblivius to your own existence realizing only pain and nothingness, while watching everyone you used to know die and suffer forever, Searing fires ,and freezing pike terrorize you until you rip out your innards and consume them.
