I wouldn't worry, she is still within the normal range of learning to walk. :-) She will do it when she is ready!

My baby didn't start walking until she was 17mos. old and only then with me working with her a lot, but she was so much smarter than other kids her age. She spoke full sentences, recognized things in her environment like shapes and colors. If they don't start walking early they advance further in other areas. Just work with her on the walking. Bribe her with toys to move away from the coffee table, even if just a step or two. Also try tennis shoes that go over her ankles for support. Good Luck!

No. I have four children who all walked at different ages. (1) 10 months, (2) 12-1/2 months, (3) 17 months, and (4) 13 months. Anything before 18 months is normal although the doctor does make more of a note of it when they get past 14-15 months.

Good gravy! Give the child some room to grow and experiment! No you don't need to worry. My son didn't walk until he was fifteen months old. His daughter, my granddaughter, didn't start walking until she was sixteen months old and still likes to hold onto something a month later. Children develop according to their own needs and not according to parent's expectations. Just let your girl have the freedom to grow in the direction and at the speed, no matter how slowly, is best for her.

I'll be she's a cutie, right?

I don't think so---some babies walk really early (mine did at 8 and 9 months) and some don't walk until they're past one year old. It isn't an indication that there will be something wrong with them. You still have a few more months. If she doesn't walk after about 14 months, then I'd take her to her pediatrician.

No need to worry. My oldest daughter didn't walk until she was 15 months. She is now 8 years old, and one of the smartest in her class. Just let her take her time. Have fun. That is the best age!

All kids start walking at different ages so no you don't need to worry. You should probably start prepping her though for it. Get her some toys that she can hold on to while she walks and also hold her hands and help her walk a few times a day and she should start walking in no time.

You do not need to worry AT All!!! Just make sure she is crawling right? My son didn't walk til he was 13 mos old. I didn't walk til I was 14 mos old. My sisters daughter started walking at 9 mos old. Every Child is Different I would not worry one bit. If you are there concerned then go ahead and call your pediatrician.

NO. You do not need to worry. There is no "normal" age for a baby to do anything. They all develop differently. Some walk at 9mos. some don't til 20! Your baby will be fine. She'll show you signs when she's ready, just watch for them. Relax

I don't think you need to worry just yet. Give her a little more time. In the meanwhile, I would still go see a pediatrician. She may not be able to balance because of an inner ear problem. Have her checked out...just to be on the safe side.
