This hasn't happened to me, but I know alot of people it does happen to. They drink alot, but not really anymore then anyone else they are drinking with and the next days they are destroyed! Its all based upon how hydrated a person stays throughout the night. People who get horrible hangovers are the ones whose bodies use up all the water in their system throughout the night. Different people get differently severe hangover because of their different body types and the way their body reacts to the alcohol. A few suggestions to help lessen your hurting hangover...
1. Before you go to bed the night you drink, drink a FULL glass of water or gatorade or powerade. Not soda or anything with alot of sugar. As you know these drinks are made to hydrate you.
2. Encorporate a few small glasses of water into your drinking throughout the night... have 3 or 4 drinks then drink a glass of water to put something natural back into your system.
3. Before you go to bed the night you drink, eat something! Eat something like bread or pasta, pizza is good, crackers... something to soak up some of the alcohol so more of it doens't go into your blood stream.
If you do these during your drinking nights I can assure you, your hangovers won't be that bad... but if they don't help, try that new pill thats out that is supposed to "cure the common hangover." Good Luck

The anti-hangover pill is Chaser the brand name for a dietary supplement tablet. This tablet, introduced c. 2004, was marketed heavily as being "specially formulated to reduce or eliminate hangovers."
The remedy claims its efficacy is based on its ability to absorb congeners i.e., byproducts of the fermentation process, but has induced criticism as not working, having no actual basis in scientific fact, and having complicated dose instructions, especially when one is intoxicated.
It should be noted that the product claims that two caplets last for three hours of drinking, or up to six drinks. "If you drink over a longer period, or more than six drinks," it advises, "take two more caplets". Furthermore, the directions state to take the caplets with plenty of water- already believed to be a remedy for a Hangover.

Sometimes I do get the worst hangovers, but the best thing you can do is take a cold bath, take aspirins, drink a beer and a lot of water (or gatorade or stuff like that) and stay in bed.

I used to, but I learned my lesson. I only drink beer now and I don't have any more hangovers. There is nothing worse than a hangover.

If you can, take a couple advil before you go to sleep. In the morning, grab a glass of V8 or tomato juice. Something in the tomatoes helps reduce swelling, and you have a hangover because of pressure from swelling in your head.

I find that -- no matter how bad I feel -- I feel better if I force myself to go ahead and get up and move around. Admittedly hard to do sometimes. But I get rid of my hangover quicker that way.

I use to but not as much anymore. I find when I mix my drinks, (beer and shots of Scotch)then I have a deadly hangover for a day sometimes two days but if I just stick to one brand of beer, I'm fine. One sure cure for me when I'm hungover is to eat something preferably instant noodles and they must be hot and"spicy". Then I find myself feeling better. Not always 100%, but definitely better. It gets rid of that nauseous feeling.

A hangover makes me wake up real early, I don't know why. It sucks because I feel so bad too.
