Okay here is why i am a complete dumba$$. I didn't know this girl was head over heels for me. I have always seen her as a friend. so one night we were just hanging out by the pool, and she asked me out. I being the complete idiot thought she was kidding, and pushed her in the pool and ran away chanting GGGG-unit. But then i found out what really was going on, but now she won't talk to me.

Why did you break her heart and why do you want her back? If she's smart she'll move on, serenade or not.

You must be very young because this whole scenerio seems off in so many ways! I have no idea what a GGGG-unit is, and dont care, especially assuming this is a bad thing. What exactly are you trying to "win back"? Sounds like by serenading her you are more interested in "winning back" her attention than her friendship?! Doing anything even romotely romantic to gain favors from her is fueling her being "head over heels for you", if you only consider her a "friend" than why would you provoke further misleading or misunderstandings that could devastate her further?! You want to be a real friend???? Just tell her your sorry your just a jackass and be done with it. Let her move on !

Well I say do something to show you realize you were not aware of her feelings beyond a friend. Although the most lasting relationships start as freinds and bloom into romance. This way you cut out the rush of romance clouding the fact you don't know anything about the person. If sh is the romantic sort then yes by all means do something romantic. If she is the fun sort invite her to a water park and let her return the favor on you all day long!!! (thus a modicum of revenge/redemtion for her and a fun first date for both of you. The most important point is don't let yourself loose a friend becasue of this.

Ok, follow your heart and let her know that you understand her feelings and that you weren't sure what she felt or wanted when she asked you out. Old fashion sarenade is cool and very romantic. Wished more were like that in todays worlds of love passion and romance.
Maybe even consider doing something like that at her place of work (by boss permission only) or have her and her best friends to be "SOMEWHERE" for dinner and you come out singing to her. Then expain the reason you did as you did.
I once sang in public to say I'm sorry and that I loved her......My song was "I'm sorry......I love you. Make up the words to sing and thensing her the apology.
If you love her show her, fight for her but respect her all the while, even if she "want's time" to think it over.
Keep me posted dude......and never let go of romance or love.

Are you a complete idiot?????? If you come and sang under my window after that I'd prob throw a lamp at you. I would suggest you send her some flowers and not just a 10.00 bouquet either, i mean nice flowers and an apology on the card, a big *** apology. If she is that interested in you and you all have been friends that long she'll figure it out and it will be okay.

I think it's a great idea, and if you can't sing, it's even better b/c it will be funny, and girls LOVE a funny guy. and I think you should sing your body is a wonderland. or it ain't over till it's over by lenny kravitz. But if you only want her back as a friend, you should not seranade her, you should just send her some flowers, not red roses...something like daisey's or you could send yellow roses with a card that explains why you reacted that way and tell her your sorry but would like to remain friends.

If this is the first time you broke her heart you might have a chance. But you will be proving you were wrong a bunch. It doesn't mean you should have to fork out more money for anything. But your actions will speak louder then words. How you treat her when you do get her back, will make it or break it.

Give the girl time, if shes really likes you singing doesn't matter and if she doesn't singing won't matter either. Your best bet is to write her a heartfelt letter and slip it under her door....explain the situation from your point of view, explain how bad you feel and how much you care about her....thats much better than a cheesy song

what I would do rather than singing under her window is find a really heart felt song and sing it to her in public, and explain how you feel, not only will she appreciate the fact that you're prepared to make a fool out of yourself, she will also realise you are sincere.

Really, it depends on what you did to break her hear. Yeah it sounds really sweet and I'm sure a lot of girls fall for that stuff but if you really want her back you better have a great apology ready after wards.
