i don't believe that the end is here. We still have a lot of time. I think that some christians have a death wish or something because they actually get off on the idea of the end being nigh.
P.s. Pls note I said SOME christians. Not all. Thank you.

True, these things have happened over the centuries, but never to the extremes that we are seeing now. Since 1914, everything has progressively gotten worse. At Mark, there was a two fold fulfillment. First for Jerusalem, which was destroyed in 70 CE (our Common Era) and now it is awaiting the future fulfillment.

You have the dates wrong. Learn the parable of the fig tree. This is what the subject is about, Matthew 13:30. The count down started when the house of Judah went back to Israel and became a nation, 1948.
You have a lot of work to do.

It is true that these things have always been going on, but.... Look how different the world is now than just 20 years ago. It is a scary place and it keeps getting scarier. There are more and more things going on. It will come to an end, and I think soon.

Yes they are, Daniel 12:4, Matthew 24,... Read your bible and also there are people today who God chose as eyewitnesses to let the world know that the end is very near. You can find these books easily at your local Christian bookstores or Internet. Jesus is the Truth. :-) God Bless.

Life as You and I know it; is rapidly morphing into a period of destruction. It is the nature of evolution to evolve, peak, and descend. Yes, End Times are here.

Watch for the Sun to hide and the moon to turn blood red, then thunderings, lightnings, hailstorms to destroy crops, flies to devour the flesh of man.

You are right. Since humans became aware of their own mortality, we have been predicting imminent ends of the world. It does seem like nowadays there are more predictors than ever.

When is a question not a question and when is it an excuse to share thoughts? Not that I am offfended, the thoughts you shared are interesting, just not a question... SO I felt compelled to comment without answering your not question :)
