I'm an Eclectic Wiccan as my friend is, and her birthday is coming up this month and I thought it would be a nice gift to make her a wand, but is this appropriate since wands are a personal thing? If not, what are some other Pagan/Wiccan crafts I could use to make her a gift?

I think it's a wonderful idea for a gift. Most magical tools are personal, but that doesn't mean that making one as a gift is not appropriate. It can be symbolic of your personal relationship with your friend. And, once she uses it, it takes on her personal feelings as well.

I am not a big expert on the whole wiccan thing, but I think that the wand will mean more to her if you make it because your friendship will be a part of that wand.

Definitely make the wand. I think she'd love it. (I know I would.) Besides, it would be full of the love you have for her friend. What better energy to give as a gift? =)

Make her a wand, tools like these need to be given, not by the person who would use it. Like tarot cards, they should be a gift.

a wand is a beautifull gift a peson can have more than one for different uses I am wiccan and Reiki and I use one with all the charka colors just for Reiki

That sounds like a fine thing to do to me, so long as your intentions are good...will you be making it out of a hazel stick? I'm not wiccan myself but I have ancient family connections to it and I think it's interesting.

What a lovely idea ..sure ...maybe give her a dream wand ...to help her dream when she is restless...dont know if anyone has one ..but it would be a nice thing to have ..and it is personal too ..between friends

I do not know much agbout Eclectic Viccan but I think anything you make for a friend is a sincere gift and will be much appreciated. You sound like a good friend.

Sure...I have several in my collection that were gifts from friends and mentors. if she decides to use it in practice, the thought of you and your energy could make its power all that much greater.
