Everything in the world has good and bad, yin and yang. Technology had increased our communication, but also made us more distant physically. I think we have lost our touch with others and much of our empathy in the world. People are not as real anymore and feel they do not have to relate to others. It has gone from talking in person to talking on the phone to emailing. We all need a hug and a pat on the back really now and then.

Technology is neither man's technology was developed by either God or the Devil. God's technology is much more complicated, the working of the brain, the beating of a heart, how insects fly, etc. MAN developed mechanical technologies; the mechanical heart, computers, the airplane, etc. The devil's technology is a destructive art, whispered to Man, when creating; technologies like, brain hemorrhages, heart deceases, faulty workmanship which cause planes to crash. GOD gave us the freewill to use his technologies for the better, the Devil waits and whispers in the ears of evil men to cause destruction; MAN, creates in both direction; those things that are evil, and those things that can be of great help.
So to answer your question, as the world prepares for the Third World War, technology is neither the work of god or the devil, it is the work of MAN's FREED WILL, and his ability to CHOOSE whether to use what he creates for good or bad.

It is a work of man. Man is a creation of God. The devil doesn't create anything because he doesn't do any work. "Idle hands are the devil's workshop."
Now, our addiction to technology and our propensity to become lazier and lazier through its use; that's got the devil's name written all over it. The fact that we just rely on technology to allow us to become fat and lazy and sit around and do nothing, and use it for instant gratification is I think what you're getting at. And that tendency has been there all along, even before technology existed. We just didn't have the opportunity before.
We created technology using the gifts of creativity that God gave us. The fact that technology can be used for evil purposes does not mean it is a work of the devil.

The Devil wants to imitate God so bad, he wants to be like him, but in a reciprocal kind of way.
In Daniel it says, that Science will advance in the last days. This has been proved true. In the Last century and a half we have moved fast in science and Technology.
Now, God, may have made technology for example:
Internet:
1. to help us work most efficiently,
2. communicate with loved ones easily
3. Spread the Gospel
4. Have readily access to the Bible.
5. Other great ways to use the Internet.
But the Devil has seeped in and started:
1. making pedophiles seek their victims on line
2. making porn sites
3. spam and virus (can only be made by some one evil)
4. identity theft.
5. Other disastrous ways of using the Internet.
So its Both!

Neither, it's something that man has invented. There is nothing wrong with technology, but some use it for evil, and that is because some people are evil, but that isn't the fault of technology. If you go back in time, you would see every cutting edge technology was used for good and evil. Such as the gun to rob banks in the 1800's. It was also used to defend homeowners against warlords. It's like the old sayne, guns don't kill people, people kill people. These are just instruments, that people can use for bad.

Neither, it is the creation of man. Technology is nothing but a tool. Man invented a hammer. Man can use the hammer to build a house, on the flip side man can use the hammer to crack open someones skull.
God created man in His image. He made us His children, he never intended for us to be his slaves. He made not only us but the planet and stars as well. Within the planet he made us, we have all the resources to make whatever we want, only our imagination is our limit.
The devil tried to tempt us to be apart from God's wishes. Just like our parents on Earth (at least the way parents should), God loves all of us; he has set rules for us. We don't have to follow his loves, that is where the devil comes in. He tempts us to disobey God's rules.

Everything is a gift from God. Even the devil comes from Him.
Question is, what will we do with it?
Wouldn't it be glorious to see what would happen if the technology we have were used according to Jesus' teachings?
I mean, if we have the ability to clone a sheep, why are there any starving kids?

All good things come from God. The concept of the devil came from the Zoroastrians in an attempt to explain evil in the world. Evil happens, because people chose it through the free will given to them by God.
