If you are unsure do it anyway and then ask for forgiveness. Nowadays, that's what most people do.

This is Just a play and action. But as a lifestyle we should not do that. But for play it is not wrong. We have to look from every angel in the Scripture not only from judging point of view. 10 years old daughter is just a girl not a woman. There is a vast different between girl and woman. Don't listen to Judge, just carry on the play.

How about instead of wondering if scripture bans it, you think for yourself and ask yourself if it harms anyone for a 10 year old girl to dress as a boy for a play? That way you can get through life without having to worry about petty things like that.

Deuteronomy 22: 5: "A woman shall not wear anything that pertains to a man, nor shall a man put on a woman's garment; for whoever does these things is an abomination to the Lord your God."
Plays are perfectly fine, but don't cross dress as an everyday lifestyle. That's what's wrong.

Actually nothing is wrong with that. It's just a play.
Back in old times, it was vise versa. Women were not allowed to engage in plays because of lack of women rights, and therefore when a female part was in a play, a man had to play the part. I learned this in English 3 class last year.

I don't think the Bible has a fashion section. Shakespeare's plays were performed without women. Juliet was played by a slender fair skinned male(women were not allowed on stage). If it was good enough for old William it is good enough for your daughter. There is nothing wrong with gender swapping in performing a play, it is done all the time. I am sure God would be smiling.

There is scripture regarding cross dressing - but this is as a lifestyle - no as acting or being in a play. I see nothing wrong with this at all - but bear in mind that while I may be Christian in my beliefs, I also see nothing wrong with cross dressing.

I think that's sort of like asking is it OK for a girl to dress up as an angel for the Christmas pageant at church....
What if the same kid was dressed as a witch for Halloween?
Either way, you can bet your last pair of jeans that somebody will be pissed about it.

I hate dressing like a girl and I am a girl and it should be wrong to get manicures and pedicures and wear awful dresses and high heels and look like a frikkin object and be judged like that rather than what is inside your head, and I wont dress like a dumb w.hore unless I am going out on a date
