I haven't had any dreams in several months and I forgot what I dreamt. I have been feeling somewhat depressed lately and think that this may be what causes me not to dream.

Not having dreams is nothing to worry about, it simply means that you don't remember your dreams (meaning that you are sleeping deeper and better). I wouldn't worry about it at all and I don't think that it is related to your depression.

You always dream - you don't always remember your dream. Try getting in a relaxed state of mind before you go to sleep. If you have a TV in your bedroom, get rid of it. And if you wake up, write down what you're thinking about. It may help you remember your dream in the morning.

You dream every night, you just aren't remembering them. Depression can affect your memory and can affect if you'll remember your dreams.

I would suggest seeing your doctor, and talking about the cause of depression. You could also ask him/her to send you to a sleep clinic where they can monitor you to see if you might have a sleep disorder.
