It will be ok to swim in a pool that is treated with chlorine or baquacil (I dont know how to spell it) but I wouldnt to swimming in a lake or pond because bacteria will get in and make it worse. They do make water proof bandages if you would rather something be on it but I would still only get in a treated pool.

Maybe you shouldn't go swimming, if you have an infected area on your leg. You should cover it with some cream like Betadine (it's really good for infections and bad burns) and rest a little until it gets better. Making exercise with the injured leg will only make it worse.

The point of Chlorine is to kill germs, but i would still cover the wound with a water proof bandage to prevent the wound opening from the water. Other than that it should be fine.

Clean it very good with peroxide, and then go swimming. Chlorine helps destroy bacteria (that's why it is used) and will actually help heal the cut. If it doesn't get better, go to the doctor!

Put a water thight bandage on it. This is for your protection as well as the other pool users.
Shaving around the wound would help the bandage adhere better.

You can put poroxide on it to clean the wound and then put neosporine w/ a waterproof bandade over it. That's what I would do. Good luck!

Actually the clorine will fix the infection, so don't put any thing on it.
