Ty Webb is the A-Rod of golf, he's great when there's no pressure involved. Tin Cup is the Manny Ramirez, he's so loosey goosey that he feels no pressure, but makes some stupid moves some times.
Ty is the better golfer and A-Rod is the better baseball player, but depending on the pressure of the shot, depends on who would be the closest.
So in other words, if the two guys were fooling around together, Ty would win, but if it was a competition with money on the line and thousands of people watching Tin Cup would win.
