I was watching the movie with Mel Gibson and Helen Hunt recreantly and thought to myself it would really be great to hear women’s thoughts! With this message board I thought it would be cool to get actual real woman thoughts on men, dating, relationships, and most importantly what makes you tick? my answer may make you think all women are nuts but honestly i don't know what the key is, it's just when it fits it fits. i don't know when i found my husband he wasn't what i thought i would be looking for, but yet he was exactly what i was looking for. i can tell you though that i am so thankful for him b/c i am quite moody and emotional and serious! and somehow through all of my ups and downs and whatnot he always always makes me smile and laugh and has a way of lightening my mood. he can handle me, and i like it. but besides that, all in all he makes me feel safe, and secure and i think b/c i never had that growing up i just treasure him for giving that to me.

Well I always desire a man who can be his self , and not be intimidated, honest ,non abusive, trustworthy. I am not single ,but liked your question, but if I was on a date those are things i look for , mainly attitude as well does he talk too much about his self, does he ask me what I think enough ,values my opinion. Did he just open that door for me , how nice that is rare and thank you for the flowers or candy! I love when a man can hold a conversation , and not just about sports!

I like a man who is funny but not silly, gentle but firm, romantic, pampering, secure within himself, intelligent, a good listener and talker, respectful, open minded, will still open the car door for me, loves life! When intimate makes me feel like a person and not an object. He can also be a good cook!

i think the movie was being too kind. i really do not wish to hear their thoughts because I am sure like anyone they can have so pretty bad ones that could crush you or anyone they do not like. and lord forbid you hear one on PMS I think if these thoughts ever got out we all be in trouble.

It frustrates me when a guy is too afraid (for whatever) reason to approach the girl that he likes. There are only two things she can say, "Sure, a movie sounds great!" or "I don't think so."
Why are some guys afraid to approach girls anyway? We aren't that menacing are we?
