Only those who oppose it and speak against it make it seem like a major issues but it's minor. The little problem can and will be go away.

Faith is between a man/woman and God.
Religion is an organization run by one group of men/women to control other. And in the degenerate cases God is a product to be packaged and sold. God probably despises that the most.
Yes throughout history Religion inherently caused more problems than it solved.
But then Faith has solved more problems than we'll ever know.

It depends whose religion you talk about.
Christianity and islam are known to cause more problems
than good.
Islam is a treacherous religion.
But my religion only shows you how to live with humility and kindness.
Not all religions cause more problems than good.
Christianity and Islam have battered my religion - hinduism.
They still do. But my religion has never once raised a hand to these two religions, or stolen or murdered and raped or taken land or whatever the two religions have done.
Do you know the last Pope who just died took an island from the native indians and never paid a cent. Just took it for his personal retreat and never once spoke to the people he stole from.
I am making it my life's mission to be honest.

I'm sure it causes some problems. The main idea of any religion is to respect other people, to be "good", not to steel, among other aspects. If religion is used to its purpose, it should help out have a better world. The problem lies when people fight over which is the thruth religion (although not too many people do this).

It causes problems when the militant believers try to force their beliefs on others. As long as people use religion as it should be used, internally and personally, there are no problems.

In a way yes and in a way no. If you look back in to the history of the world, there were many, many many wars and battles that had to do with religion, where each sect of religion split up into another sect.

Probably, but that would be hard to quantify. Most people might behave worse if it weren't for their spirituality, which often has religion as a side effect. Of course, there's nothing worse than the history of organized religion, though.

Oh YEAH! just look at the history of humanity, most of the major conflicts, wars, atrocities in our past and present history are motivated by religious zealousness and/or misguidance. We are always so quick to justify our actions no matter how senseless, misguided or illogical in the name of God and Religion. We kill in the name of Religion and God, how crazy is that? Humanity needs to take responsibility for their own actions and stop pretending to know what God wants, the mess we are creating in our planet has everything to do with humans and nothing to do with God.

Because of the rude questions and answers we've seen on this site - I think that people should really keep their religious beliefs at their churches, temples, synogauges, mosques, etc. and in their homes. This is obviously not the place to get honest questions and answers regarding any religion or lack of.

No, and atheists stop acting like religion causes ALL the problems in the world- some, but there are many atheists who contribute to world suffering (crimes and such) as well.
