Christianity is your brain on drugs of the worst kind. I liked the burning furby, and do not see the connection to religion, unless you are saying god has a large microwave. Death will be... well... you are there , and then something happens.... to give an example like yours try to form a thought...see nothing happened, and that is death, you stop existing. Sorry that you don't get to go anywhere, and I know it hurts to feel less special, but it will be OK. It is not atheists with no sense of humor, but Christians that would not know a good joke if it bit them in their @$$. They don't even see the humor in church, or the bible. The bible is the best joke in about 2000 years or more.

I think about 10% of the people on here actually have a sense of humor. I'm surprised the other 90% want to be on here considering all they are doing is being angry at questions.

You asked them if that was their brain on drugs? Honestly it wasn't that funny. Not because it's offensive (cause I love offensive humor) but just because it was sort of dumb. Also it wasn't a serious intelligent question so I can only guess that is why they went off. If it were me I probably wouldn't have even bothered to respond to it because it was just silly and not worth it. Of course there are stupid atheists out there just as there are stupid christan's. Whatever.

narcissism has it's drawbacks i guess... I didn't think atheists had a sense of humor. Just look at the pot-marked fool that keeps trying to get the words "under God" out of the pledge. His daughter and wife don't care but he wants it taken out.... even though he has lost 4 times now.

I love to laugh ! Keep in mind "atheist" would cover a very wide spectrum of people, just like "Christian". Some very spiritual, some not at all. Either way, some are more tolerant (and able to take themselves less seriously) than others.

This forum belongs to the atheists. Those of us who have a religious faith are only allowed here by their tolerance.
That's why Yahoo titled it "Religion & Spirituality".
In other words, they can insult and make jokes about Christians, but Christians ABSOLUTELY must NEVER EVER insult or make fun of them. They can dish it out, but they can't take it.

I guess I missed all the excitement. Don't take it too hard, it takes all kinds...there are some folks with good hearts that happen to be athiest, and some real schmucks that happen to be Christian, and vice versa to both.
