I'd suggest trying the cheap place, and seeing if you're happy with the results. That is, of course, if you can stand having what you consider a bad haircut until it grows out.
If you can't stand being uphappy with the cut, go to the expensive place. You still might be unhappy, but at least you'll have someone besides yourself to blame.

that would depend on you and your experiences. I go to a supercuts for 15 a pop and im very satisfied. I have been going for about 10 years and i was never dissapointed. I feel i dont need to go spend 60 or more.

I've had hair cut at inexpensive salons and expensive salons. It's the skill of the stylist. Get recommendation from somone who used the more expensive salon.

i've done it before.
i went to a little barber shop in my town and they literally messed up my layers. i had to get them re-done, and it ended up costing me $60. i would get it professionally cut because even though you're paying a little more, you're getting your money's worth. layers are also best cut by professionals. other run-down barber shops will usually cause you to get split ends have overall bad hair.

Get your haircut from the cheap place (its all the same) get your color at the expensive place.... really... never get anything chemical at the cheap places... here's why, the girls at the cheap places are just starting their careers... you'll be the one they practice on!
