There was no fighting style in that movie. It was just a bunch of punches and kicks edited quickly on top of one another. They do this when the actors in the fight scene don't know how to fight.
For comparison, watch an old Jackie Chan movie, and see how much longer each take is between cuts. That's a sign of skill, when you can keep going for 30 seconds or even several minutes in a choreographed fight scene.

There is no connection between Tibet and the Ninja of Japan. Further, Ninjutsu (in Japan) is not taken seriously by anyone. Learn Aikido, Jujutsu (jujitsu), or Judo if you're serious.

Not sure of the answer to this question but if you haven't seen it, check out Equilibrium. There is a style of gunfighting called Gunkata. Christian Bale (Batman) kicks some serious a** in the movie.

I saw on an HBO special that Krav Maga trainers developed the fighting style for the movie...or a style inspired by such.

i highly doubt it's "ninpo" which is actually spelled "ninpou" meaning "ninja arts" in japanese. ninja arts don't mix in a temple area especially in tibet. why?
ninja arts started by japanese government for recon and assasination purposes. too. if it's in tibet, why would japanese martial arts be in tibet?
