I know it's not the number on the scale that counts, but the way you look. I want to tone up my stomach, loose a couple pounds, and tone up my thighs......what is the easiest way to do this?

I don't eat fatty foods, and I stay away from the fast food places. I drink LOTS of water, and eat vegetables, fruits, and lean meats. So no one can say that I don't eat healthy. I just need to TONE my stomach and legs. I found out that the reason I do weigh so much, is becuase I have more muscle then fat.

In my experience, eating less, or differently, in addition to cardio, is the best. I used to weigh 240 lbs, and now I weigh 155. All I did was eat less fattening foods, and I had smoothies for a snack, or sometimes for breakfast. Eat when you are hungry, not when you are bored. You'll be surprised what a half hour on the treadmill can do. Bring someone with you to workout, it makes it easier.
2 times a day 30 minutes jogging/walking alternate every 2 minutes, add one or two degrees incline to make up for the wind resistance you would get outside.
Usually the first 10 pounds lost is called "water weight" which is just stored water in your body.

I used to weigh 185 and now I'm 106 and I lost it in 9 months by eating no more than 500 calories a day and doing simple exercises like sit-ups and squats and running for like 10 minutes a night. I did all my exercising at night and didn't eat anything after 5:00 p.m. But doctors didnt recommend this to me.

You prob. have more muscle than fat. Muscle weighs more. I found the best way to tone is by doing yoga. Try Yoga Zone beginner for Abs. Ive been doing that for a couple of years and you notice results right away all over. They have a ton of other videos also. www.amazon.com . Walking is a good way to tone your legs. I prefer and elliptical machine b/c it offers resistance and I can do it inside when the weather is bad.

The best way to lose weight on a normal diet is to give up any foods containing corn syrup. That stuff is poison, man. It makes the body produce fat at a faster rate than normal.

A FEW THINGS TO REMEMBER:
The correct way to burn fat and stay healthy is to burn more calories than you consume
You need to make sure you are eating healthy foods while still excercising
If you have a big appetite drink plenty of water so that you will feel full but not consume calories
But you should always eat
If you start to skip meals you will only be more hungry at your next meal and probably eat way too much
Remember, the average persons stomach is as big as a slice of pizza scrunched up into a ball
So you shouldnt be putting more food into your stomach than what fits
Also, it takes aproximately 15-20 minutes for your brain to realize that you are full
so eat slower and you will realize sooner when you are not hungry anymore

excercise regularly and eat well - go for low fat foods and water instead of softdrinks
as for the exercise it sound like you might benefit greatly from pilates! It's all about strengthening and toning

exercise dear and jog every day there are ofcourse shortcuts but they have side effects
so go for the natural way have vegetable and fruits to eat and adopt a sport
