I believe in God, but not the OT bible god. I have studied enough on ancient religions, cultures, and mythologies that I have found out that some of the same things that are in the bible are written down in other much older texts first. In these old texts they had multiple gods and the similarities are not coincidence. The stories have been passed on for thousands of years before being written down again by the biblical authors. And during this time the stories were changed to fit the current culture and religious beliefs.
When I first found this out I was shocked just as you would be if you studied and educated yourself. I was a Christian, saved baptized the whole nine yards until it was proved to me that the bible is not the inspired word of god, then I had to wake up and re-think my whole belief system. The truth is out there like they say seek and you shall find, and the truth will set you free.

I don't believe in God
I don't believe that you need to live your life from a book
I believe that people are mostly good and should try to be better people by helping others
I believe that organized religion is a business, for the Vatican is worth over 8 billion dollars and their parishioners are starving across the world
I do not believe that an all loving god would let people suffer everyday...especially kids
I do not people in God's will to let this happen
Kids don't deserve this
I believe that if there is a God...he took the last 2000 years off
I believe more people should be nice, and not so narrow minded
I believe that one doesn't need to pray to an imaginary being to feel good about themselves, for their own actions should speak for themselves
I believe that people should practice what they preach...being negative and judgmental is not the way to live

Does it really matter what anyone believes it? Get a grip already. If people want to worship a tree -- leave them be. If they choose to worship God, good for them.
Why do people have to be labeled blind? What you believe in, is your choice, and not everyone's choice that walks this earth. Your beliefs are part of your faith -- but when you can prove to me that the church is not out for the money or whatever else that they scheme on, let me know.

I believe in God. Without God the world would not exist. However, I do not believe in organized religion. God is always w/ me and he can hear me pray just as good on the toilet seat as he can on a pew. Plus, from experience, too many hypocrites go to church. Plus, I don't understand something... people always get dressed up to go to church but why? If God loves me for who I am then doesn't he look past what I have on and into my heart? My relationship is between me and God and no one else has the right to judge it. I hate when Christians ask me if I "know the Lord". It's like they are judging me by thinking that I don't by the way I'm dressed or the music that I listen to.

Why are you people so close minded? Why are people who don't believe in your god a threat? Why do they scare you so much? Perhaps they look around at the evil in the world and can't reconcile it with an omnipotent omniscient omnibenevolent diety. Perhaps they feel that without scientific concrete tangible proof there is no basis. Perhaps they are just trying to mess with you. Why do so many believers seek to pass judgement when the Bible says judge not lest ye be judged. I dont try to preach at people. I try to get along with people. The world needs less close-minded individuals who think people who don't see what they want them to are blind and more openness and understanding.

I believe all 2000+ gods exist, but I don't believe you should worship them unless your pagan, greek, roman, egyptian, etc.
As to being blind I think ignorance is blind and my friend if you think there is only 1 god you are blind. Trust in the creator who's name is Yahweh and not a pagan title.

The only difference is my believing in GOD or not, is totally my belief and my business. As you can see, an opinion on here varies and an admission of a GOD or ones GOD subjects them to ridicule, and hate. Anyone that knows me personally or just from answering questions here, knows the answer to that. With that being said, everyone have a good day and don't forget about your friends if you believe in GOD.........

I do believe in God! I'm a christian but, though we know Christ, others don't. Instead of insulting non- belivers the ways many of them do us we need to treat them with Love. God gives us the power of free will to believe what we want and love to be kind to those whom are different from us. We need to understand that Christianity is difficult to comprehend at times. Don't insult people for not being Christians- that goes against everything we are taught! Be patient- remeber, one day everyone will worship God. That day'll come!

I'm not blind... but practical. Why would I waste my time and energy on a myth? There are so many "gods" in so many "faiths".. what makes you think yours is "the one".
You are the blind one.
Can you say "brainwashed"?
