Gentiles: the word represents the nations, all those not of the house of Israel. Sometimes the word can designate between people of non-Israelite lineage, or other times to designate nations without the gospel, even though there may be some Israelite blood therein.
Jew: The name indicated first of all a man of the kingdom of Judah, as distinguished from persons belonging to the northern kingdom of Israel. It has become customary to use the word Jew to refer to all the descendants of Jacob, but this is a mistake. It should be limited to those of the kingdom of Judah or , more especially today, those of the tribe of Judah and his associates. Thus all Jews are Israelites, but not all Israelites are Jews, because there are descendants of the other tribes of Israel also upon the earth.

The Jews were God's chosen people to be the light of the world, to tell the world of Him but they rejected Him. The Gentiles were the Greeks and Romans that did not have God but served pagan gods. That is why they were thought of as so lowly and not worth much. After the time period set for the Jews to prove themselves, the message of salvation went to the Gentiles and they accepted it even thought the Jews had rejected it. Today you are considered a spiritual Jew and if you really don't believe or accept God, you are considered a Gentile. Hope this helps some.

In the Bible, the Jews were monotheistic and God-fearing, but during the time of the Bible, the great majority of Gentiles (except those who had converted to Christianity) were followed polytheistic, pagan religions and had no thought about the future.

Jews were just that, Hebrew descent - Gentiles referred to any half-breeds or non-Jewish peoples. I hope this will help clarify for you what is meant. May God bless you as you have endeavored upon the most important education you will ever seek to receive and as the reward of that education will be a closer walk with your savior, Jesus Christ, and as that walk blossoms and grows, you will wonder why you waited so long - but, I can tell, you it's never too late to learn the wisdom of God! May you, my Christian brother, be ever encouraged and not discouraged as the Holy Spirit teaches and reveals what you are ready to know and understand each day.

Jews are those that follow The Law (The 10 Commandments) and are awaiting the Messiah. They do not recognize Christ as the Messiah.
Gentiles in the bible refer to those who were not part of God's working through the Isrealites. Today anyone who accepts Christ as their Lord and Savior beomes Israel the same way God changed the name of Jacob to Israel, so will God translate you from your fallen state into his Kingdom as Israel...
Hope that helps

The Jews are the people of those days. When it says the Gentiles it's usually referring to us, the people in the future. At least that's what I've come to believe.
