i think all a man needs to know is communication, honesty, and trust. you can't have a successful relationship without the above.

A woman cant really tell you what will make her happy. It takes time to get to know your gf and know what makes her laugh and smile. She might tell you that a gold necklace might make her happy, but it could really be a poem you wrote for her. Every woman has different wants and needs. You have to know that person and not be selfish. You have to see what she does and what she has or what she says. She may love to watch the same movie over and over again on cable and you could buy if for her on DVD. She may have mentioned what her favorite flower is, (not all women love roses, I know I cant stand the sight of them) So pay attention and you'll figure it out for yourself.

Pay attention. The details count.
And try to have a conversation with a woman. They like it when you talk to them and they don't have to do all the conversational work. They keep talking because they are trying to get you to engage, not just for you to hear them talking.
And tell a woman exactly what you are thinking. They think men are complicated and men are not, but you have to compensate for that.

The first thing that comes to mind is to NOT be selfish. Think about what you say and do. Consider our feelings and our views. Be willing to compromise. Be HONEST!!! That is a biggie. Tell us about your day. LISTEN wholeheartedly when we tell you about ours. Don't forget to tell us thank you for the little things every once in a while. We need to know that we are appreciated and not taken for granted. Most of all.....love us.....and show us that you love us. Actions speak much louder than words!

I think it all depends on the woman. Some women ,like the one im married to will always find something to complain about no matter what you do.

Be yourself and be happy. Pay attention to body language. Notice the little things, that always means alot. You can never say "I love you" too many times.

I want someone who is sensitive enough to bring flowers on my B-day and listen when i have a problem. But we can still eat ice cream and goof aroung lots . And he must always be able to make me LOL

Be honest...completely honest. Even the smallest lie can be a big deal. A relationship is about trust. Oh, and put the toilet seat down!
