My father, but there came a point when my mom drove a wedge between us. Now, I have an almost non-existant relationship with my mother, but have a pretty good one with my dad. I did tend to "adopt" friends mothers though. Had some that I was closer to at one time or another. Lost one through death, and another because her husband turned out to be a pedophile. Lucky for me, I was too old to be pressured into his BS. That's where that one ended. I pretty much perceive that I don't have a mom and it's horrid. There are times when you need a mom, even as old as I am and she's just not available. I can hardly be around her for very long and it breaks my heart.

I always favored my mom when I was younger. My dad wasn't around much because he was in the military. Once I got a little bit older (and especially after my dad retired from the military) I got to see how much I'm like him - we both think alike and enjoy a lot of the same things - so now I'd have to say I favor them both equally

My parents have been divorced since I was a year old. I lived w/ my dad because he was more financially able to take of me. And because I lived with him we are very close, not to mention I'm a daddy's girl. And even though I love my mom... to this day I favor my dad more and would do anything for him.

I like both of my parents for different reasons, but my younger sister always favoured my mother. This makes my dad kind of jealous, and it's kind of interesting watching him trying to bribe her love by buying her toys and icecream.
