Ok, we've only got about 6 weeks left of summer. 25-30 pounds is an outrageous amount to loose in only 6 weeks. Concentrate on about 2 to 3 pounds a week. I've been trying to loose weight for quite a while also, and here's what I've found to work for me:
-No eating after 5. Most people say 7, but I prefer 5.
- Eat breakfast! Fruit is amazing energy food.
- Get out of the house and be active. Sitting around all day will promote boredom, and I usually eat when bored.
- Choose activities that you love to do, not ones that feel like chores. Also, if your thinking about taking up jogging (which I highly recommend because it tones your entire body) break down your workouts into two to three times a day. That way, you can run for three twenty-minute segments which is much easier and equally effective as an hour's run.
- Avoid diet foods. Most are packed with preservatives and I've found some so called "diet" bars that have as many as 300 calories! You're better off with a nice juicy apple or orange which are much more satisfying and don't conatin too many calories.
- Last and most important, watch calories and portion sizes.

First off, you are too young to diet yourself - talk to your parents or guardian about this. Maybe they can take you into a doctor that specializes in losing weight (more commonly called a dietitian). Trust me, you shouldn't try this by yourself - you are very young to be dieting! Losing 25 to 30 pounds by the end of the summer is also a dangerous goal...
Here are some tips to get you started:
Drinking 8 glasses of water per day is an excellent start. This will make you feel full more often, and it's also healthy for you. Eat healthy, low calorie foods (such as fruit, vegetables, and lean protein). Eat smaller meals, about 4 or 5, throughout the day. Be sure to exercise a lot - maybe go to the gym or go jogging with your friends. Don't eat right before you go to bed. And, try to stay away from the computer and TV! Go outside and play, instead.

Im 13 and I started on a low calorie thing yesterday. I want to lose about ten pounds and I will lose it easy becuase Im tall. You can try my procedure bacuase thats what I do. Try to limit 1,300 calories a day. Drink 8 glasses a day which you are already doing and excercise. Also try making yourself a schedule if you want.
8:30 Eat Breakfast
10:00 Eat a Small Snack
12:00 Eat lunch
3:00 Eat a Small SNack
Eat Dinner at the Later time
I know this may seem like a lot but I forgot to tell you to eat small portions of each meal. Dont eat a lot at one time. Try to eat fruits and vegetables. For your snacks, eat small snacks like 4 peanut butter crackers.
EXCERCISE
KEEP DOING GOOD, BUT DONT TRY TO STARVE YOURSELF AND GET DISCOURAGED. DONT WEIGH YOURSELF EVERYDAY. WEIGH YOURSELF ONCE A MONTH OR EVEY 3 OR 4 WEEKS

If you're only 12 years old you need to ask your mom to help you with this diet plan by cooking healthy meals and giving you "normal" portions. It's not a good idea to starve yourself to lose such a large amouint of weight in such a short period of time... at your age you are still growing... exercise... do workout videos that teach you how to dance or something...

You need to re-learn how to eat so you can become thin.
Find out about fastest way to lose weight, gradual ways to lose weight, most effective exercise and anti-water. Lose bodyfat and retained water which also makes you a lot fatter (bloated). Plus click on "Pure Water" to make sure the water you drink doesn't hurt you. Most important-- make sure to read the last "fat loss tip", first before anything else, to see the number one food that causes Americans to be fat.

I'm 16 and I've been on various diets since I was your age, even younger. The easiest way to go about things is to just cut your portions, nix all the junk food, and try to eat mostly natural stuff. I've been staying away from pasta and red meet, as well as drinking lots of water, and I've lost seven pounds this week. Give it a try, and if you don't see results quickly, DON'T GIVE UP. Whoa, slow down honey! You're gonna serious hurt yahself if yah lose tha much weight so fast.
Exsahsize and keep drinkin', but don' lose moh than 2 lbs. a week.

your only 12 don't let this be your focus but if you want to lose weight cut out the sweet stuff and go outside and play,run,jump rope, you know kid stuff. or have mom take you to the doc office that he or she can give you a diet fit for you

A FEW THINGS TO REMEMBER:
The correct way to burn fat and stay healthy is to burn more calories than you consume
You need to make sure you are eating healthy foods while still excercising
If you have a big appetite drink plenty of water so that you will feel full but not consume calories
But you should always eat
If you start to skip meals you will only be more hungry at your next meal and probably eat way too much
Remember, the average persons stomach is as big as a slice of pizza scrunched up into a ball
So you shouldnt be putting more food into your stomach than what fits
Also, it takes aproximately 15-20 minutes for your brain to realize that you are full
so eat slower and you will realize sooner when you are not hungry anymore
