Is it ok to be with someone who does not want a girlfriend,Should I keep him just in case?

I have been dating this guy for a few weeks now. We like each other. You can see it in our eyes and actions. He told me he did not want a girlfriend. I told him then we should be friend because if we were just dating we would probably stop talking to each other after a month. He was ok with it he said he wants to keep on talking to me, but then he add friends who are physically attracted to each other. We ended up kissing about two hours after this talk. He says he really does having feeling for me, but would not want to be a couple because he would want to me faithful to me. Should I keep him just in case? Till I find some else. Then make him a real friend (Non-kissing). I am 20, not in a hurry to get married.

He is a Libra and I am a Cancer.

Could we friends with benefits till I find what I want with some esle?

It seems you are not okay with this, you need to distant yourself. I'm a cancer to and I know we can sometimes become emotionally attched to a person and want more. I just ended a relationship last week and we both realized we did not want to be in a relationship just remain friends with or w/o benefits.

If he's a good guy who's tryin to get right (meaning he's got issues he needs to take care of) then put him on the back burner for awhile. You can still go round and date and be his friend. Either he'll get it right later and ask you, or you'll find someone better. Keep you options opened.
