E85 will burn in any car. The probable major and only modification you'll have to make if your car model is after the mid Eighties is changing the fuel mixture chip. I don't know which one you'll have to get for it. Look on the net using keywords such as ethanol, E85, making ethanol making alcohol, distilling ethanol, ethanol stills, alcohol stills, etc. I found an article on a site which told exactly what is needed. But I lost the info when I reinstalled my OS.

Good luck.

Your car must be set up to run E-85 or it won't run right. E-85 typically runs more rich than gasoline, so your engine timing will have to be changed to match it. Also, E-85 can be very corrosive to metal parts, especially aluminum. If it sits in the car, you could develop leaks in your fuel system which hurts performance, but is also very dangerous.

You have to have a car that is made to run on E85. Also known as a FFV or Flex Fuel Vehicle.
