Well, I can honestly say I hold nothing againt my missus. I'm just as clumsy as her and ice cream on a shirt wouldn't ever bother me. Some guys still feel the need to be the 'man' in the relationship I think, and so they subconciously try and put their partner down in order to be top dog. It's a male ego thing really, and due to the history of society where man has always been in charge it gets to us and we stupidly think we're better. Which we're definately not.

There are some blokes out there who'll admit their not any better, but there aren't many who'll let the lady rule the roost.

Whether is his favourite or expensive shirt, he will hold against but for a short time only. At that spur moment he will be mad because he need to present himself for another event or maybe wear it again the next day. With stain on it, we are talking about find a wash room and try the hardest to clean the mess and have the shirt looks like it just come out from the washing machine.
Just like someone spill your dress when you are on your way to a D&D, you will be flumming.

Dont take his comments (whatever it may be) too hard. Everyone has his/her day

You are with the wrong kind of guys. Most MEN do not act like little BOYS. Childish. If you made a mistake large or small, there is nothing that cannot be worked out or talked out. A favorite shirt can be replaced but not a relationship that is valued. I dont care how much you liked the shirt. A lot of it is just immaturity

Well look at it this way, Women are usually alot more carful than us in relationships which translates to us screwing up and you having a very valid reason to be pissed. So now you spilled stuff on my favorite shirt, yeah I'm pissed at you. Only because I don't get the opportunity to be truthfully mad at you. Its a silly Immature game but I can see how guys slip into it. It's really a credit to women because most of the time women don't F*** up and guys well theres not enough ink in the world to write about our slip ups. I'm not giving women a free pass by saying they are perfect no one is, but men screw up more so when she messes up, it's our chance to be mad. Silly

lets just say that sometimes its role reversal I have had GF that kept track of every little detail thru the ages and when we fight all the "mistakes of the past" would be brought back into play..maybe this has happened to this guy and hes programed to beat you to the punch ?? possibly?? I would rather get mad then and there and then get over it as opposed to just smiling and then bringing it up three years later in and argument about somthing different..

Probably because most of us are immature. I never get upset...unless someone hits a lady. I think if both sexes are gonna be treated equally, then the need to be COMPLETELY equal. No more double standards at all.

Because women are passive-aggressive. Generally, when you piss me off I tell you to quit acting like a *****. Generally, when I piss you off you "accidently" spill ice cream on my favorite shirt. Generally, when I spill ice cream on your favorite blouse it really was an accident. However because generally you are passive aggressive, you interpret the accident as though it were a personal attack and hold onto it for years.

I find the opposite is really true for me in my relationship. My wife remembers everything I do, no matter how small, and is master of bringing it out to block any accusation I may make. I really don't get into that game but she likes it...

I'm sorry that you feel that way. But 9 times out of 10 I see women bringing up the past time and time again. It also might be your boyfriend, man, or whatever he is.

This sounds more like the problem is with the individual, not the whole group.

I've known women to be the same way.
