Usually meant to mean a strange acting or eccentric old man. Actually derived from the word "guiser" which means a a mummer or masquerader.

"Hey you old geezer get out of the road before someone runs you down and quit crawling across the roads on your hands and knees."

"Old school" means essentially, the same idea behind the ever-generational: "when I was young"... and when talking about something as a subject (as in 'that car is so Old School) you're saying that it's from another generation, from before "your time"... is all. _____ Here's where it comes from: It's a VERY SIMPLE slang, from the NYC usage of how things were done in a prior generation from men that grew up in the 1970's/80's really.. men talking to local boys on a street or stoop/stairs.. and relaying how it was, when they were boys. The term was used a lot in the early & mid-1990's.. and today, it's all over the Disney Channel, TV commercials for children (written by white 20-something men)... and typed on IM and now texted, as 'old skool' etc. by suburban white teens to/from each other for the last 15 years, easily. (...19th Century? this term comes from guys that know more about the 80's and crack, the 90's and the "2 Live Crew"... then reflecting on neo-religious terminology... you're overthinking this, you think?) When you move on, you move to a New School... it's much easier than what I'm reading (here)... when you graduate from elementary school to high-school, for example.. you go to a NEW school... right? (so, what was in the past.. would have been your OLD school)... this was a street-way of saying "about 10 or 15 years ago")... because it was referring to the old way... figuratively... and it built through the 90's from a general use... (old school hairstyles, old school fashion...) to near exclusive use of RAP and HIP HOP styles of music... because that's how WHITE PEOPLE and teenagers heard the term relayed (on MTV, etc.)... to the point where Old School RAP is a form, now.

"old geezer" is slang term for elderly man. Also used a lot by Cockneys (Londoners) often refers to someone who's a bit of a lad or a player.

a geezer is an old crotichy person. usually like that crazy old man that stands on the porch and yells at kids. Characterists assocatied with old geezer are being somewhat mean and a hermit.

Old geezer-sort of a putdown for an older man, maybe in his seventies, who has old fashioned ideas that he hasn't changed for awhile. Or who can't do physical things, like driving or jogging, as well as he used to. It is never polite to call or refer to somebody as an old geezer, although the people who recognize themselves as such might joke about it.

When referring to an elderly person crossing the street slowly one might say "hurry up you old geaser!"

It's geezer, and old geezer, although used, is like saying "A pair of twins" since geezer by definition is old.

Geezer:

a man who is (usually) old and/or eccentric

an old geaser means that someone is very old, or it could also mean that they are old fashioned. one scenario could be somone calling their grandpa an old geaser. sometimes it can be rude to call someone an old geaser, but you can also use it in a joking sense. i guess it depends on the personality or the person you call an old geaser. if the person is more serious, the more likely they'll take offense to it

I may be an old geezer, but trust me. Old age and cunning will beat youth and strength any day.
