Bunch of NASCAR people missing from the list. Don't forget all of the Non-fatal crashes like Patrick Swayze and Harrison Ford.

They key is they have the money to get into private aviation and like JFK Jr. buy a "hot" plane instead of a Cessna 152. Back in the 70's they used to call the Bonanza V-tail the Doctor Killer. Docs could afford to buy them but not be good pilots. Same thing with Celebs. A lot of them get mediocre crews and cheaper aircraft (compared to commercial) like Rick Nelson. An old refurbished DC-3 made of magnesium and a faulty heater. Commercial is so much better regulated it is a pretty easy equation to understand.

Many people die in plane crashes, but the media doesn't care to mention all of them, just the famous stars.
