I normally take talwin for my migraines but my monthly prescript is empty (weather plays havok) and I was told this was morphine. I did NOT take it, but I would like to know what this person really gave me.

It's Rythmol. A heart medication, it's for arrhythmia.. You really shouldn't take pills from people if you don't know what they are or what they do.

You have 2 reliable options, one is easier than the other. A) You can call a local pharmacy & see if they will tell you-sometimes they will other times the pharm tech is an *** I guess. Or B) go to Yahoo Images & type in the name(s) of what you believe the pill to be. There are med/pill sites that will tell you with a description, but can sometimes be hard to get the right one & I forget those links. Good luck & I wouldn't take it until you know FOR SURE just what the pill is. REALLY don't take it until you know because it could be unsafe & even (though unlikely) fatal to you. Sorry about your migraine, go to a neurologist & you can get something prescribed TO you for them in the future. & Oh yeah it is technicly illegal for the person who gave it to you to give it to you. (Even if it was your mom). So if you were to have an adverse reaction, that person could be in legal trouble. Just a note of caution.
