Te Quiero (Spanish) translates in English to: I Love You.
Yes, Gringo or Gringa is considered offensive.

te quiero - is spanish for "i love you" or 'te amo' also means i love you...they both mean the same.
i have known white people that didn't like being called gringa because some of them do take it offensive.....i've been taught to not use that term because of how people will take it, regardless if you know them or not.
if someone calls you that, u should take it offensive.

In Spanish "Te Quiero" means I love You, but be careful, because in Spanish We use the verb "querer" for two different meanings:
1.-Querer.-To want, to desire. for example You can say:
*Quiero ser profesor= I want to be a teacher
2.-Querer.-To Love, to like.
*Ella quiere mucho a su novio=She loves
her boyfriend too much.
in Spanish "Querer" and "Amar", means the same: To love, but generally "amar" is when you love someone a little more deeper.
Gringo(a).-it's an slang in Spanish that a lot people use to call Americans. it's offensive if you take like that.
It's stupid to call people with names like that one, don't pay attention to those people.
Remember , Stupidity doesn't discriminate!!
Have a nice day!!!!

Te quiero is one way of saying "I love you" in Spanish. Te amo is another way. Gringo or gringa (depending on the gender of the person in question) is not meant to be offensive. It is simply a term used to refer to someone from the US. The term we use, Americans, is actually offensive to Latin Americans since they consider themselves Americans as well. The term in Spanish for a person from the US is estadounidense, but it is easier to say gringo.

I took spanish class at school. Te means "you" and quiero means "want", so Te Quiero means "You want"

I'm pretty sure it means "I want you"
Remember those taco bell commericals with "Yo quiero Taco Bell?" (I WANT some Taco Bell)
