If it does not how can anyone assert that we did?

How can anyone assert that we descended from something else.

There is no evolution. There is adaptation, but nothing becomes something totally different.
God made us the way we are.

Evolution has proven nothing but that it was and is still just a theory, nothing of fact. How can it assert that we did what??? man did not decend from the trees or even ascend into them as some would have you believe. That is a proven fact.

I recommend the DVD Lucy She's no Lady which examines the star piece of evidense the Fossil Lucy, The Lucy fossil which is truly a bad argument for evolution if there ever was one

the theory of evolution is not true. evolution believes in "explosion" of matter (eg, planets). explosions are suppose to be messy and not SUDDENLY formed in to some planet.

i don't think evolution can prove the descent of man. actually, i don't think evolution can prove ANYTHING. it's just a theory. (:
