Yes. You can buy young rose vines or bushes from garden supply stores or plant nurseries. Their catalogues offer roses in red, pink, yellow, orange, blue, purple, and black colors. The black roses are really a very, very dark red.
Rose breeders have created a strain of genetically modified roses that are blue in color. To make blue roses, it is necessary to borrow the delphindin gene from another kind of flower and splice it into the genes of the rose.

There are no true black or blue roses that exist in nature but scientists are spending millions of dollars to genetically mutate roses by implanting genes from blue pigment producing flowers to try to make a true blue rose. So far they've only manged to create purple ones. Maybe one day but not yet.

There are no truly black roses. There are however some dark purple or dark red roses that have black overtones, like that of velvet. The roses we sell that are red with black tones are Eugene de Beauharnais (China) and Don Juan (Climber).
There are no blue roses. Rumors abound on scientific work in this area in Europe, Asia, etc. Maybe it will really happen someday (besides the spray-dyed ones), but in the meantime, look for purple, pink or yellow roses which will compliment your blue irises and delphiniums nicely.

no true black roses exist. Some roses sold as black roses are actually dark red or maroon. The petals of these dark red roses sunburn easily.Blue roses dont exist yet either. Some roses are advertised as blue, but they are usually lavender or something. Most lavender roses are difficult to grow and are quite susceptible to disease. I've seen blue. Would love to see a black one, but I'm told no black flower exists. I guess if blues one can be developed, black ones can.
