being passionate is very exhausting e.g. when u coldcall and get rejected most of time. does positive attitude suffice in your experience ?

you need to have one or the other at all times. If you wake up with a bad attitude one day then you MUST have passion to get the job done anyway. And if you are lacking passion and drive, then you need a positive attitude so that you don't ruin sales opportunities for tomorrow.

There are two kinds of products - tangibles (like a car or an item of clothing) and intangibles (like insurance) - and not everyone can sell both.

Like somebody above said, you got to really believe in what you are selling. If you do, then the passion will show through.

I suggest getting some of Brian Tracey's books or CDs and pay serious attention to what he has to say.

You have to believe in whatever you're trying to sell. Not everyone wants everything, however, if you come across that the product is WOW, this will translate. Good luck!
