Mine is a drawing of El Quijote de la Mancha by piccasso..I just love the way he did it ,is an abstract but somehow it has everything for me , so old, thin and proud of himself.. just quixotic :) ...I also like many of Escher , what is yours?

Durer's drawings are superb as were Michealangelo's preparatory drawings for the Sistine Chapel.Augustus John's draftmanship outstripped his paintings and any drawings by William Orpen or Klimt are worth looking at.Enjoy!

In 1948, or thereabouts, a cartoonist named Steiger did one for the New Yorker magazine. It shows a strange little man huddled in a box, with the caption "people are no damn good." It is TOO funny! You can find the image on the net.

Da Vinci did a drawing of soldiers in some war......i have a poster of it on my wall. I drew a particularly ugly (scarred, really) man with a tear in his eye. The idea was that he has been through all this hardship and never cried until he saw....whatever it was. i called it 'Beauty'.

I'm kind of partial to Picasso. His early work in particular, because he did so many fascinating pieces that no one got but him. Take care.
