Girls may be attracted to a certain type of guy, but it is definitely possible for a gal to become more attracted to someone else once they get to know you. I have become attracted to a few guys that I was not initially drawn to. Their personality and sense of humor were amazing. Don't be afraid that you don't fit the mold for the "typical guy". Typical is boring!

Women definitely are as picky as men. However, there is more to it than looks. From personal experience, I'd say that guys can become more attractive as I get to know them. However, it can also go the other way. Some very good looking men have become really ugly, after I got to know the personality. The only bad thing is that if the girl won't give you the time of day to begin with, how will you show her that you are a good guy?

You would be surprised how many girls actualy go for the chubbier, sweet guy..or the dorkie/geeky type. first impressions are based off of physical attraction, so where as the girls may look at the one with the six pack, most aren't happy with that type. People who are vain tend to go just for looks, but those who are more than that go for a total package, personality, kindness, sence of humor, not just looks.

Some girls just know exactly what they want, which make it seem like they are picky and selective, it doeesn't mean they won't give guys that aren't in their "selected" category a chance. I, on the other hand, like variety and I like to spice things up, I give everybody a chance. If the girl you like doesn't like you because of your body, then she probably isn't worth it.

Yep, we tend to notice all types of guys whether or not we date them is another thing altogether!
We talk about typical "six-pack" guys as they catch our eyes easily, just like big breasted or blondes catch boys eyes.
But it all comes down to an individuals taste, who they'll go out with. I usually go for tall guys as I'm 5'9", but have recently been swept off my feet by a guy shorter than me..
Ask her out, the least she can say is no and best yes!!

some girls can be and those are the sterotypical kind, they base there judgment on how good the guys looks, and to be honest im not that way at all, most of my friends , look at personality more. And there humor, education and stuff like that...But i wont lie yes looks play a role in every girls decision.

Put it this way - How many good looking girls do you see with not so good looking man? Or slim women with heavy men!
Exactly - quite a few.
Guys place more emphasis on girls appearance, but a women loves her guy no matter how big his beer belly is :-)
Go for it - all she can say is "no" , would you rather have regrets to ponder on in a few years time?

from my experience as a girl i can tell you that a certain kind of girls notice a certain kind of guys. women have this incredible intuition that just "tells" them "this guy is right for me/ this guy is not", even before they can get to think about it. physical aspect has very little to do in that choice. intuition, education, and, why not, social status, influence it. some girls may even choose to deny what their intuition tells them in order to follow stronger influences. and, in fact, that happens quite often. the physical attraction a girl may feel for a gorgeous man fades out quite quickly if it's not fueled with something more stable. and the contrary is true too. girl meets boy and boy is really into her and making her feel the way she needs to feel... and boom! there you have it. she's all yours!

Girls are selective, and some are just drawn to a type of person, but being selective and shallow are two different things
