My husband's boss invited us (and other co-workers) to a college graduation party for his daughter. They want to get together and go in on a gift for her. She'll be teaching high school English in the fall. Any gift ideas?

YES, do you have a teachers supply store in your area? If so a gift card there would be great - new teachers need all kinds of supplies and that costs a lot of money upfront. This would be a great idea if you ask me! If you don't have a store specifically for teacher supplies maybe a place like Office Max??

I agree to get a gift card for a educational store. They need so much that the school systems dont supply. Teachers need all the help they can get.

I am a teacher myself and I know what teachers love -
get a nice red goody bad(tote) and stock it with Pens, pencils, markers, highlighters, book marks, candies, erasers. she will love it.
u can even add a small quote book and a mug "language arts rocks" !
