When you know you do want to spend the rest of your life with that ONE PERSON. No matter how rough it will get. There will be times where you two can't even stand each other, maybe not even want to see each other for a few days. Don't by into the hype of divorce, THIS IS NORMAL as long as there is no abuse. TRUE LOVE means you love that person even when that person is not your favorite person of the day. TRUE LOVE means that you will love that person when both of you are old and wrinkly.
Anyway, to answer your question, you also need to probably talk about the future with your significant other. Finances, religion, children, etc...
There really is no set age, 1000 years ago people were married at 12. 500 years ago at 14. 100 years ago at 15, etc....
The older people live, the later in life marriage is becoming the norm. Think about, if we lived up to 1000, people probably wouldn't be getting married untill they were 500 LOL.

i think there is no best age for getting married...i think just when you are financially and emotionally ready..as well as willing to be committed for such a big step..then yeah, you are ready
