whe when I try to add the month and date of my birthday, it does not change it, it get an error report?

The error report I keep receiving is that I need to fill in my complete month, day and age and I have already done this.
THere is no category for my question so I have placed it under Arts & Humanities......Genealogy

Try including the zero before it? ex. 01/01/2006

It might want the European date system: Day/month/year.
