No, but the sugar or caffeine (depending on what you are more receptive of) is. I am addicted to the sugar I get from soda. I know this because I've done decaffeinated sodas and I still drink it in the same volume as I do decaffeinated. Other people I know are addicted to the caffeine, because they can switch to coffee and get the same effect.

Yes and no. There is caffeine in regular Pepsi which is addictive. Also in diet Pepsi the saccharine (sugar substitute) is addictive.

Why else would it sell so much?? If it wasn't addictive people would have moved on to the better tasting drinks available on the market.

Caffein is addictive, but probably not in this small amounts. Sugar is addictive in a way though.

yes it has caffine which is techincally a drug, an addictive one.
Better than other drugs though obvisously.

Fact: more people that are addicted to soda are addicted to the carbonation than the caffinne
