Are teachers still sad if a student dies and that student was always mean and hateful to that teacher?

Of course. No child ever deserves to die. And no teacher would ever wish the grief on a parent or friends of the child.
Plus in 99% of the cases a teacher can find one positive thing about even the worst of children.

All youngsters are precious no matter what their behavior was to the teacher. It may differ from teacher to teacher, but most teachers see the potential in their students and see their negative behavior as result of their environment.

I have never met a student who is genuinely bad. Frustration piled up from their daily lives are often to blame for bad behaviors because kids often dont' know how to handle themselves.

Of course, teachers would be sad. I would be devasted to lose any of my students no matter what kind of troubles they may have caused in the past, and I would give up my own to save any one of my students.

Teachers dan't always show their affection because they have to be tough to the kids, but the heart is there for most teachers.

Yes b/c I truly care for all my students...even the challenging ones. I think I might be more upset b/c that student would be gone before I was able to build a better relationship with him/her. No, I would be equally sad if any of my students died. What a tragedy for a child to die.

I really don't think a teacher would ever wish a student dead. There are people I really, really don't like, but I would never wish them dead.
