Yes, I like President Bush. He "talks the talk and walks the walk". If he says that he's going to do something, he does it and by the same token if he says that he's not going to do something he's definitely not going to do it.

He may be too stubborn at times, but I guess that he has to be stubborn with all those special interests and political advisors saying "Mr. President, this is the way to go."

I am glad that he is not ashamed to say that he believes in God and in Christ Jesus. You may or may not like him, but I think that he's doing his best in an extremely hard job. I don't agree with him in several things, but I respect his decisions. For instance, I think that we should get out of Iraq and we should certainly get out of Afghanistan if we aren't going to catch Osama ben Lauden. And there is this: we certainly SHOULD NOT get involved with Iran. Remember the American hostages back in the 1970s. I know that we don't have an embassy over there now, but I'm sure that there are Americans that the Iranians could get to and hold hostage or worse--they could kill them. So yes, I like President Bush. He does his best and I feel safe with him as President because I know that he'll do what he thinks is right for America. I trust him to do the right thing and he has very rarely disappointed me. Two things come to mind. They are: the war in Iraq and the present war in Afghanistan. I will just add this last thing: I am a Democrat.

I do like him, everybody will always find something to ***** about or degrade the president about, no matter who he is. I think people need to think about what a high stress, demanding kind of job he has. The whole United States safety, money, and outcome lies in his hands! Talk about nerve-racking, and I am sure it doesn't make it easier with people criticizing you and picking you apart all the time! We are all upset about our soldiers being overseas, but the soldiers aren't mad! They are over there possibly giving their life, for reasons they believe in! Maybe we should take some lessons from them, at least they are aware that there are more people in this world that need our help, and they are out there being selfless doing there part why we sit home and ***** because we are selfish!
