~Yes, Jesus does. But I keep trying to explain to him that I don't have the same feelings for him. He thinks it's because he is a migrant worker but it isn't that. I just don't have the same feelings for him as he does for me. It means that I feel badly because I don't want to hurt him.

Yes. His love the Bible describes as "Agape" love which means self-sacrificial and without expecting a return of love.
I believe that I am a sinner and that since God is a just and holy God he must judge me based on the things that I have done. His Holiness is evident by his teaching, for example, that if any one has hatred toward his brother, then he is the same as a murderer. No one can pass the test of perfection and therefor if I an judged by my actions - I am going to go to hell.
Jesus perfection allows God to judge my sin and be holy and just by Jesus willing sacrifice of his life and blood. (Old testament law required the shedding of blood for the forgiveness of sin) Jesus became my blood sacrifice and now through belief in Jesus sacrifice I can be restored to relationship to God.
Jesus said that eternal life was knowing God, not living forever. My life now so vastly improved as to be incomparable with the life I lived before because my created purpose (to Know God) now can be fulfilled.

No. It means nothing to my life.
Jesus died 2,000 years ago.
He doesn't even know we're here because he's dead.
