You have been reading my posts. The slave mentality is particularly strong in the US, where our kin want to do everything to feel and be 'American'. They are not. They are Africans, supplanted to America. They are ashamed of their history and whom they are. You see, take a Chinese person, they are more than happy to say they are American, but know their motherland is China. This is a much deeper debate, which needs proper examination and not just the symantics of your argument. However, the main tenets of your argument are true.

What the ****?!! Boy pleez. Don't question the things we do just because we're black. And I don't know who ur talking about when u say we act like slaves. Black people are independent. We will shoot a ***** if they ever talk to us like we are slaves. I buy my own food, shelter, transportation, and clothes. I will NEVER take orders from a white person unless he or she is a boss at my job. I will not take **** even if he or she was my husbands parents. N we don't call eachother ****** in hatful ways. We use that word to substitute the word friend or 'homie'. We wear fake hair if we are unhappy with the length of ours or we wear it just because we want to. I don't have any fake hair in my head. What I wear is 100% me. Just because we are black, we DON NOT have a negative image of ourselves. But we are proud to be black then being pink or pale. And there are white people who are drug dealers, pimps, gangsters, and thugs. So you need to take a second look at my race. I am going to Harvard Law School. Tell me that I have not dwelled on slavery enough. I am not racist, I hold no grudges on white people for what they had done in the past, but will NOT let u talk bad about my race.
P.S. U need to change that ****** up picture

You can get a good night sleep now, Be not angry that you cannot make others as you wish them to be since you cannot make yourself as you wish to be, Try to fix the mistake never the blame, The world is not is not interested in the storms, you encountered, But did you bring in the ship, It is not black people alone who said forget about the pass all nation use that word all nation wear fake hair, all nation smile the same way, all nation cry the same way, so have a good day, don't worry be happy

b/cuz even though you wanna forget the past it doesn't always happen the way you want it to?? if you had been treated the way we were or still are being treated you might realize what we are going through!! we wear fake hair b/cuz we want to its not nessacary that we hate our hair!! some of us would like to look good for our men!! we don't have hair that we can just wet and go!! since we have to do more to our hair we sometimes like to have a break and wake up and comb it and not have to flat iron or blowdry it! so walk a couple of days in our shoes and then you can talk about something!!!

I have to agree with Re@L T@LK. For us black folks its OK for us to say n!gga because n!gga has just become a word or a phrase for us to say like ex: "n!gga please" or "that's my n!gga" or whatever. But for whites that something totally different. I feel that it becomes something totally more than that. When whites say it they use it has a cheat or a "crutch" trying not too call us the real word that they mean "*****" or worse "n!gger" So don't take us back cause you wanna go back!
I know at times i don't agree with blacks.YES we need to get rid of our negative image of being being pimps, drug dealers, thugs and gansters.
YES
YOU
HAVEN'T DWELLED ON SLAVERY ENOUGH BECAUSE YOU
HAVEN'T LEARNED ANYTHING FROM IT!
YOU
Really need to dwell a little more because dwelling leads to thinking and learning.

Thats the results of hundreds of years of conditioning. Things are making a slow progress though as you see more and more successful black people but I, being black and all, agree almost completely with what you said. Its good to blame other people for our problems but only us can really change them and until we stop misplacing most of the blame on the wrong people our people is screwed. Also turn off BET and all that bullshit its controlling youg folks and now even whites, asians arabs are affected by the ''ni*ga'' syndrome.

Dwelling on the past is not the solution; learning from the past and making the present and future better is.
How about discernment - instead of dwelling; dwelling is status quo and hoveing in one spot.
Reach back, learn, forgive and or forget and move on with new knowledge.

Sometimes I don't understand that either.. We need to stop calling each other the "n" word and stop treating each other so bad...Us as black people think that if we're a shade or two lighter than we're better...It's that slave mentality..We need to start studying and knowing our history and coming together, instead of trying to misidentify and be what we are not and tear each other down...Remember...Black Is Beautiful..

Ok so some people wear fake hair, its their business. Maybe if you had enough money you could buy your own hair. Once you purchase something it becomes your own. Same as any women who goes to get their hair or nails done. Its all a beauty process. Women naturally like to look good and feel good about themselves. Its genetic.
And you my friend, have obviously lost your marbles.
