I'm sorry gameplan_extreme what would you call it?
It wasn't the asker it was an arrogant and extremely ignorant individual who repeatedly insulted me over and over with emails about my answer.
I elected to be contacted because I wanted to be able to help people any way I could regarding my answers. If the wanted to talk to me about it.
I didn't care for being blasted like that from some incredibly immature person. I guess if I posted who that was I would be just as bad as they are, so you are going to have to take my word, it was harassment. Isn't it funny how everyone has to be so challenging here. Can't you just ask or answer and get on with it??? Are you that bored????? See, now I'm doing it. What ever happened to people with class?

It is sad to say because this has happened to me.
I think the problem stems from the roots inside. They are lonely, have no one in their lives to make it more joyful so their only communication is with Yahoo Answers! They spend time asking and/or answering questions. And if the person is not successful in getting the answer he/she wants then the person repels against a certain person. And it may not even be the person that answered the question.

Harassment is a strong word you used there. Maybe the asker just wanna tell you how he feels about your answers, and you took it negatively. Besides, its up to you if you allow others to contact you through email or not, I think we have that option when we registered for Y!Answers.

I think you chose the wrong category for this, probably because you are upset. Be sure that you have not allowed your e-mail to be visible to the general public. I don't really know if it is a psychological problem, but I have to admit there are a few obvious nutters out there. Try not to react to them. It is a waste of time.

major, I'd say. Although some of my answers and questions can be inflammatory and I just have to accept hearing from the people I offened. I dish it out, so I can take it.(but I never email anyone, unless they are friendly, and want me to explain in better detail to them)

People with nothing better to do then get angry about a post. Like the christians. I thought they were peace loving. Oh well, it just goes to show I guess.

not sure about psychological problems, but some people are really bored and have absolutely no lives or friends, so they think its finally to harrass people through email. I know its annoying but try to ignore them, emailing you is through only contact with other people.
